“My interest in the natural world stems from my childhood in Faversham, Kent. I spent many hours on the Swale estuary along its creeks, in nearby chestnut woods and at the edge of local gravel pits and ponds. Since recently moving to Bristol I have spent time exploring the surrounding wild spaces and have been drawn to the Severn estuary. A familiar landscape of mud, rocks and weed.”
