The Natural Eye 2026
The Natural Eye opens to the public on Thursday 1st October at the prestigious Mall Galleries in London. The exhibition has over 350 works on show from both members and non member artists and includes oils, watercolours, acrylics, pastels, drawings, sculpture, original prints, mixed media and animation.
All artists have been inspired by the natural world and many have used direct observation to inform their work.
The Out of the Frame Room will show unframed work from the SWLA Massingham Heath Project which concluded in April. The resulting book This Healing Heath, will be launched on preview day and is available from the galleries during the exhibition or you can order here. On the preview evening there is an ‘In Conversation- A year of Art from a Landscape Restored’ event with Martha Kearney and author Nick Acheson, landowner Olly Birkbeck and project leader Harriet Mead.
