SWLA at The Global Birdfair 2025

The SWLA will again be at this year’s Global BirdFair at Rutland Water.
Member artists Carry Akroyd, Richard Allen, Johnnie Foker, Wynona Legg, Harriet Mead and Darren Rees will be on the stand at various times with their work, and there will be the usual dazzling array of A5 Postcards from the wider SWLA membership. All proceeds from the Postcard Draw go to the SWLA Bursary Funds.
There will be a chance for visitors to have fun and get creative with the printmaking workshop held every day.
There will also be work from the ongoing Massingham Heath Project. Tim Baldwin, SWLA Friends Secretary and one of the key organisers of the project, will also be on the stand every day.
Harriet Mead will be joined by Nick Acheson to talk about the SWLA Massingham Heath Project in The Plover Lecture Marquee on Sunday at 11.30

The late Peter Partington SWLA was a keen supporter of the Global Birdfair, supplying artwork that adorns the many marquees (named avocet, puffin etc.) We are delighted to say Peter’s work will be present once more, with a stand dedicated to his wonderfully lively work, manned by SWLA member Amie Haslen.
