Call for entries for The Natural Eye Exhibition at Mall Galleries

Are you an artist inspired by the natural world? Do you create quality work that celebrates wildlife? The SWLA annual exhibition at the prestigious Mall Galleries in London is open to submissions from non member artists, including overseas creators.
The selection panel is looking for work that shows a deep understanding of the subject. Subjects can include any living creature (no domestic animals or botanical art). This includes invertebrates such as insects, crustaceans, molluscs, arachnids as well vertebrates such as fish, reptiles, amphibians, birds and mammals. If you are inspired to create, and make exciting work that has wildlife at its heart, please consider submitting.
Work can be detailed, gestural or more abstract, as long as it shows an understanding of the subject. The selection panel is interested in all styles of work including studies of individual animals, however pieces that portray the chosen species whilst giving a sense of place, are encouraged. Work may be in any medium (except photography) including drawing, painting, sculpture and original prints (if prints, please detail the edition total and availability). Giclee prints are not admissible. For further details and to submit your work click here.
Submissions close on Friday 22 August 2025 at 12 noon.
