SWLA at British Birdwatching Fair, 16-18 August 2013
The event was held under mostly blue skies this year – the 25th anniversary of the British Birdwatching Fair. The SWLA was busy throughout the three days, especially when tickets were on sale for the postcard auction and later each day when the tickets were drawn. Sales of our 50th-anniversary book The Natural Eye were brisk and many copies were signed by a number of contributing members present.
More sales of the book are needed, so please spread the word and help find opportunities locally where copies can be placed. The next major opportunity will be the annual exhibition at the Mall Galleries opening on 30th October.
