Where did you hear about the SWLA Bursary Scheme?
Closing date for initial application 7th October 2016.
PLEASE COPY THE FIELDS ABOVE + PASTE THEM INTO AN EMAIL VIA THE LINK BELOW, WITH SEABIRD DRAWING BURSARY APPLICATION 2016 AS THE SUBJECT HEADING FOR YOUR MAIL
Please include images of recent artwork including sketches and fieldwork. Please paste images into mail rather than attach as zipped files etc. This if for ease of viewing by tutors/judges. Ideally shrink the images to fit on one mail, or if necessary please send extra mail(s) with more images.
Although preferable to have good quality images, they will be judged more on the vitality of the artwork than the quality of reproduction. We are not looking for polished, finished work (though it may be helpful to see how you develop your fieldwork), rather the ability to sketch from life, however rough and ready. Artwork copied from photos is of little relevance to the nature of the seabird drawing course.
It is also useful for the judges/tutors if you can give any details/captions about where and when field sketches were made.
